This is my birthday. I had just come home from a night out—tired, tipsy, a little flushed with joy. There's wine in my hand, flowers in the foreground. The scene is warm and quiet, but not entirely settled. The blur on my face isn't just movement—it carries something else: doubt, the kind of uncertainty that lingers at the edge of change.

This image holds potential. Not of the party, but of what comes after. A new year, a new cycle. The possibility of growth, of becoming someone slightly different. It's a portrait of transition—between public and private, between who I was and who I might be. The blur suggests it's still undecided.

And that's okay. Sometimes we celebrate, sometimes we just pause. Sometimes we stay a little out of focus until we know where we're heading next.
