Privacy Policy

1. Who operates this site

This website is operated by Gal Shiran, a photographer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact: gshiran.gal@gmail.com.

2. What personal data is collected

This site collects personal data only when you actively provide it through the contact form (your name, email address, and message).

No data is sent to our servers. When you submit the contact form, your browser opens your own email application with the information pre-filled. The data is processed entirely by your local email client and is transmitted only when you choose to send the email.

We do not collect data automatically through tracking pixels, advertising networks, or cookies. Aggregate site usage (page views, referrers, country, device type) is measured with a cookieless service that cannot identify individual visitors — see Section 4.

3. How your data is used

Information you send via the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.

4. Third-party services

Emails sent to us are received via Gmail(Google LLC), which processes email on our behalf. Google's privacy policy applies to data stored in our inbox: policies.google.com/privacy.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc.As with any web host, your browser's requests (including your IP address) are processed by Vercel's servers to deliver the site. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement service that reports aggregate statistics only (page views, referrer, country, device type) and cannot identify individual visitors: vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or any other persistent client-side storage for tracking purposes. Usage measurement is cookieless and stores nothing on your device. No cookie consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.

Your browser may store a short-lived technical session identifier required for the site to function. This is not used to identify or track you.

6. Data retention

Because no data is stored on our servers, we have no retention schedule to apply. Emails you send to us are kept in our inbox for as long as necessary to respond, and are then deleted in the ordinary course of managing our email.

7. Your rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (5741-1981) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to how your data is processed

8. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when new features are added to the site (for example, when the shop or analytics are enabled). Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes relating to privacy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv.
